Régis MULLER, Partner, Labour Law

Régis Muller has been promoted Partner. He has 16 years’ experience in various legal areas with a long-standing record of representing and advising individuals and companies in Luxembourg and abroad, in both transactional and litigation matters. Over the last years, Régis has focused on Labour Law covering matters such as disputes redundancies, immigration, work permits, pension rights and the design of social plans. In his role as Partner, one of his key priorities will be to further develop our Labour Practice, capitalising on our strong market eminence and internal competences in that area. Régis holds a diploma of advanced studies (DEA) in Private Law from the University of Nancy. He was admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2003. Régis worked for MOLITOR between 2004 and 2007 and for AMMC Law between 2007 and 2017 before rejoining us in June 2017 as Counsel.

Sophie Lamothe, Counsel, Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Insurance

Sophie LAMOTHE has been promoted Counsel. She joined the firm in 2014 after 5 years as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Metz and 7 years’ experience as a lawyer in Luxembourg. Sophie is a highly experienced lawyer in MOLITOR’s Litigation and Commercial Practice Groups. She particularly specialises in Insurance law and, as Counsel, she will focus on the further development of MOLITOR’s highly respected Insurance Practice. Sophie is Avocat à la Cour and she was admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2008. She graduated from the University Paul Verlaine, Metz, France and has a PhD in Private Law from the same university.

Virginie LIEBERMANN, Counsel, IP, IT & Media

Virginie started her career as a lawyer in 2008 at MOLITOR. Over the years, she developed her expertise in different fields especially in Labour Law and IP, IT & Media and Data Protection. Virginie has led the IP, IT & Media Department since 2017, being the firm’s figurehead in that area – a domain that she will continue to drive as her main priority as Counsel. Virginie is Avocat à la Cour and she was admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2008. She holds a Masters in Business Law from Strasbourg University, France.
