Legal Assistant (Luxembourg)

Your mission

We are looking to further strengthen our team by recruiting an experienced Corporate and M&A Legal Assistant (m/f) to join our growing practice.

As Legal Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting lawyers in their daily activities and ensuring the smooth management of client files. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and monitoring client files from opening to closing;
  • Organising meetings, coordinating agendas, travel arrangements and day-to-day administrative follow-up;
  • Assisting partners with administrative support, reminders, timesheets and document management;
  • Proofreading and formatting legal documents and correspondence;
  • Assisting with legal research, client trainings and administrative filings;
  • Handling submissions and searches with Luxembourg public registers and authorities;
  • Supporting AML/KYC processes, including the collection and organisation of client documentation, conducting first-level screenings and background checks, and following up with lawyers to ensure files are complete and up to date;
  • Providing general support to the wider team and acting as back-up for colleagues when required.

Your profile

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, or have equivalent professional experience;
  • Previous experience within a law firm or professional services environment is considered an asset;
  • You are comfortable working with legal documentation, administrative procedures and legal terminology;
  • You have a first experience in AML/KYC processes and compliance-related documentation;
  • You are proactive, highly organised and detail-oriented, with strong planning and multitasking skills;
  • You possess excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment;
  • You are able to work autonomously and handle confidential information with discretion;
  • You are proficient in MS Office;
  • You are fluent in French and a have good command of English.
