Experienced Lawyer – Banking & Finance Practice (Luxembourg)

Your mission

  • Advise, both as a lead and local counsel, across a wide range of financing and debt issuance transactions and regulatory matters, with a particular focus on real estate finance, fund finance, acquisition finance, restructuring and insolvency matters.
  • Review and negotiate all contractual agreements in relation to such transactions and matters.
  • Provide legal advice/ support in relation to the day-to-day operations of our clients.
  • Assist our clients in a variety of matters relating to Banking & Finance (including in relation to potential enforcement scenario) and in Restructuring & Insolvency matters.

You will also assist other departments of the firm from time to time regarding cross-practice matters and provide advice on banking & finance matters, including in connection with local M&A transactions.

Your profile

  • Admitted to the Luxembourg Bar or another European Bar;
  • University degree in law ideally completed by a post-graduate degree;
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the banking/ restructuring/ insolvency practice of a reputable law firm, bank industry or private credit firm with international exposure;
  • Outstanding legal and analytical skills;
  • Excellent written communication and drafting skills;
  • Fluent (written and spoken) in both French and English;
  • Ability to work autonomously;
  • Flexible, team player and client oriented.
